The PASCL System
The original wireless version of PASCL uses the nationwide Skytel network to provide reliable, low-cost commications.  Each PASCL unit is pre-programmed with a unique address.  Simply power it up, and it automatically registers with the wireless network. The new Ethernet version, PASCL-E, employs the popular network standard in use by thousands of enterprises.

Both versions of PASCL employ two-way communications so commands can be verified within seconds.  PASCL works seamlessly across time zones--perfect for national chains and interstate energy providers.

Hardware--EMSI
The heart of PASCL is the versatile EMS Interface which you to implement multiple curtailment and energy price response strategies, even at a single site.  For more information, see the specifications for the wireless or Ethernet versions.
Three isolated, Form C dry relay outputs can be independently programmed.
Each output can be activated immediately, or with scheduled start and stop times.
PASCL's unique Pulse-Scaling feature harnesses virtually any Energy Management System
       for demand curtailment.

Hardware--Alert Module
The Alert Module lets personnel at the site know when a curtailment is underway.
Provides both audible and visual alerts.
Audible alert can be silenced by a pushbutton.
Visual alert remains activated for the duration of the event.

Software
PASCL Command Server software runs on the command computer, creates and sends commands, and verifies delivery.
Easily interfaced to front-end energy management software
Built-in communications and diagnostics
